AFM announces THE UNSEEN as part of The Madremonte Project
Dobré client Tim Tori's script THE UNSEEN will move forward as part of The Madremonte Project, which is one of five genre films that will be shot in Colombia. Tim Bui will direct. Producers are Deborah Del Prete and Jason Gurvitz. Christopher D'Elia and Michael Klein will Executive Produce.
Mark Wahlberg and Stephen Levinson to produce THE ROMAN
THE ROMAN, written by Dobré clients Travis Baker and Richard Tanne, is an origin story about a young Julius Ceasar and the struggles he has to overcome on his way to becoming the emperor of Rome.
Oskar Thor Axelsson comes on board to direct POINT OF VIOLENCE for Dobré and Millennium Films
Axelsson hails from Iceland where he had success directing the crime thriller BLACK'S GAME, which was executive produced by DRIVE director Nicolas Winding Refn. Dobré Films is producing and the project is currently casting.

OBAH-CHAN to air on ELI ROTH'S CRYPT TV
One of Dobré's talented animators, Paul Thurwachter, of Zenchi Zencho, has created his own series, entitled OBAH-CHAN. The series is set to air on Crypt TV in November. Eli Roth helped launch Crypt TV last year, which specializes in delivering short-form, horror based and director driven content across social media.

Written and directed by Dobré Films client, RIchard Tanne, SOUTHSIDE is a chronicle of the summer afternoon in 1989 when the future president of the USA, Barack Obama, wooed his future First Lady on an epic first date across Chicago's South Side. Tiki Sumpter and Parker Sawyers star in Tanne's directorial debut.

MICHAEL KLEIN
PRESIDENT -producer/manager
Michael got his start working at the literary agency Broder Webb Chervin Silverman and then went on to be part of the development team at Benderspink.
In 2009, Michael co-founded Dobré FIlms and immediatley signed writer, Tim Tori. He helped develope and produce Tim's screenplay, PROWL, which enjoyed a limited theatrical release through Lionsgate.
Michael then found writing team Julie Sagalowsky & Alex Diaz. He quickly sold their tween series WHAT'S UP WARTHOGS to Disney XD, where it aired for two seasons and was nominated for a Canadian Emmy.
Michael prides himself on discovering new talent and in 2012 found Richard Tanne & Travis Baker. Michael helped develop their epic Julius Caesar script, THE ROMAN, which Mark Wahlberg is now producing. The writing team was then hired by Paramount Pictures, to write a thriller for Zoe Saldana to star in.
In 2013, Michael helped set up a TV series, written by Tanne and Baker, at Mythology Entertainment. They’re currently developing it alongside Academy Award Winner Mark Andrews (BRAVE).
TANNE also wrote the romantic drama, SOUTHSIDE WITH YOU, which is going into production in 2015 and he's attached to direct.
In the summer of 2014, Michael signed writer, James Breen who is currently developing a project with Blumhouse Pictures for Gwyneth Paltrow to star in.
In addition to managing, Michael successfully balances a full slate of feature films. After producing PROWL, Michael co-produced THE PHILLY KID, executive produced by Joel Silver.
Currently, Michael's in pre-production with Millennium Films on the action/thriller POINT OF VIOLENCE as well as the cerebral horror, SPELL, with Radar Pictures. Michael’s also co-producing the contained thriller, RIDE, alongside Jason Shuman (LONE SURVIVOR).

CHRISTOPHER D'ELIA
CEO - director/producer
Called a filmmaker to watch by Film News Briefs, Christopher is a director/producer/writer and comes from a film and television production background.
Christopher and Dobré Films just wrapped principal photography on the feature film, THIS IS YOUR DEATH, which stars Josh Duhamel and Famke Janssen, and is directed by Giancarlo Esposito. They are currently in the casting phase of development on the high octane action thriller POINT OF VIOLENCE being produced with Millennium Films. D'Elia is also putting together the thriller feature SALT RIVER and is the writer of that screenplay.
His previous producing credits include the horror feature film PROWL, and THE PHILLY KID, an MMA action film executive produced by Joel Silver. Both are available on VOD and Netflix, and have aired on Cinemax and the Syfy Channel.
In addition to producing duties Christopher wrote and directed the highly acclaimed short film called TRUNK, which stars Kyle Gallner (AMERICAN SNIPER, THE HAUNTING IN CONNECTICUT) and Zachery Bryan (HOME IMPROVEMENT).
TRUNK was chosen as the iTUNES pick of the week and took home the Audience Award at the Beverly Hills Shorts Festival and the Malibu International Film Festival. TRUNK was also an Official Selection of the 53rd BFI London Film Festival and the Cleveland Film Festival. TRUNK received international distribution and is available for download on iTUNES.
RIght now, Christopher is devleoping the indie drama THE IMPOSSIBLE FOREVER, which will be his feature directorial debut, and he serves as a producer for the Emmy winning Comedy Central Series @MIDNIGHT with Chris Hardwick.
On the TV side of the business he produced the NBC series FOOD FIGHTERS hosted by Adam Richman, and also produced the FOX series TAKE ME OUT, a dating game show hosted by George Lopez.
He has been honored with the Kodak Cinematography Award, and his photography was featured in a National Geographic spread.
